AmarSatya POS — Privacy Policy

1. Overview

AmarSatya POS is a point-of-sale and accounting application for shops. This policy explains what data the app collects, how it is used, and your choices.

2. Data stored locally on your computer

The app stores business data on your PC only, including:

Shop name, GSTIN, and settings
Products, inventory, parties (customers/vendors), invoices, and accounting entries
PIN used to lock the app (stored securely on the device)
Backup files you create

This data is not uploaded to our servers unless you explicitly use online license features described below.

3. Online license and activation data

When you activate a license or use online license features, the app contacts our license server (amarsatya-license.designersdesk.workers.dev) and may send:

Hardware fingerprint	Derived from Windows Machine GUID (hashed); binds license to one PC
App version	Updates and compatibility
Heartbeat timestamps	Confirm license is still valid; grace-period enforcement

We do not sell this data. It is used only to provide and enforce licensing.

4. License request form

If you request a new license from within the app, we collect your email address, shop/customer name, and optional notes (max 150 characters). This is sent to the license server so the vendor can issue a key.

5. Data retention

Local shop data: Kept on your PC until you delete it or uninstall (user data folder may be preserved on uninstall).
License server: License records, device bindings, and audit events are retained while your license is active and for a reasonable period after revocation for fraud prevention and support.

6. Security

Local data is stored in SQLite on your device.
License entitlements are encrypted with keys derived from your machine fingerprint.
Communication with the license server uses HTTPS.

7. Your rights

You may contact the publisher to request information about license data we hold for your email, or to request correction or deletion of license records (subject to active license terms). Local POS data is under your control on your device.

8. Children

AmarSatya POS is a business application not directed at children under 13.

9. Changes

We may update this policy. The effective date at the top will change when we do. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance.
